- an entrepreneur established in the Czech Republic who, regardless of the method of sale, including distance communication, manufactures and places electrical and electronic equipment on the market under their own name, trademark or other distinctive designation, or has such equipment manufactured or designed and places it on the market under their own brand;
- an entrepreneur established in the Czech Republic who, regardless of the method of sale, including distance communication, places electrical and electronic equipment manufactured by other suppliers on the market under their own brand, unless the original producer's brand appears on the equipment;
- an entrepreneur established in the Czech Republic who, regardless of the method of sale, places electrical and electronic equipment acquired from another country on the market;
- an entrepreneur who places electrical and electronic equipment on the Czech market by supplying it directly to end users in the Czech Republic through distance communication from another country where the entrepreneur is established.
Producer of batteries under Act No. 542/2020 Coll.
A producer of batteries means an entrepreneur who, regardless of the method of sale, including distance communication, places batteries or accumulators on the market as part of their business activities, including batteries or accumulators incorporated into vehicles, electrical and electronic equipment or other products, or supplied together with them.
